An "in-process" project for a house set in the picturesque landscape of Aiken, South Carolina. Taking the idea of a pitched roof and extending the durability and low maintenance of a standing seam metal roof to define the entire skin, the facets implemented to shed water become focal cones to define views into the landscape. Windows happen at the truncated peaks and along seams. |
